How We Serve

We Are Reaching Out

Nicaragua church service under the tent

Evangelism and short-term medical-dental team ministry continue to be our flagship ministries. Each year we send 50+ teams to Honduras and Nicaragua to minister to the astounding physical and spiritual needs.

We need more volunteers to give a week of their lives to serve the poor and make a personal impact. Would you consider going on a Short-Term Mission Trip to Honduras or Nicaragua with us?

Expanding Our Ministry

However, as we have encountered more needs among the Nicaraguans and Honduras, we have expanded our ministry to...

  • ...Children:
Seeing children struggle to survive each day is heart-wrenching. BMDMI missionaries and volunteers pour out their hearts and resources to make life better for these children by establishing:
    - Children's homes for abused, abandoned, and orphaned children (hyperlink to Children's Homes)
    - Christian schools (hyperlink to Christian Schools)
    - Child evangelism programs and Sunday School development

  • ...Adults:
In addition to training adults to be good church leaders, we work to break the cycle of poverty by offering adult vocational training (hyperlink to Additional Ministries). This training helps them increase their standard of living, their self-esteem, and their ability to support their families and their local church.

  • ...Churches:
Knowing that Hondurans and Nicaraguans are the key to reaching their own communities for Christ, we have established three Bible Institutes (hyperlink to Pastor & Church Leader Education) to train pastors and church leaders. These men and women make a tremendous difference in their church's ability to reach out and serve.

Following the Call

All in all, our call is to love the Lord Jesus Christ and love our neighbors as we love ourselves. For us that means sharing our hearts and our resources!
