How We Serve
Christian Schools
For many children around the world, receiving a good education is a privilege - not a given. To give Nicaragua and Honduran children the chance to succeed in life, we operate two schools where kids are challenged to grow academically and spiritually.
The Mount of Olives School in San Gregorio, Nicaragua has more than 325 children enrolled from preschool through ninth grade. In addition to the normal class schedule, students participate in weekly chapel services, sports activities, and AWANA clubs. Parents tell us the positive changes they see in their children since their enrollment at the Mount of Olives.
The Good Shepherd Christian Academy (GSCA) is located on the campus of the Good Shepherd Children's Home in Honduras. Besides educating the kids at the Children's Home, the school accepts students from the neighboring communities. With more than 200 students enrolled from preschool through ninth grade, the GSCA stays busy with classes, vocational training and lots of extra curricular activities.
Both of our schools need sponsors to help cover the cost of teacher salaries and school supplies.
