COVID-19 Response

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.  Romans 12:12 (ESV)

COVID-19 Response

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us and will continue to do so in the immediate future. Many people around the world and especially in the countries where we work have been incredibly impacted by the loss of loved ones and the loss of employment. In countries where people literally live from day to day, people have lost jobs because of the economic shutdowns provoked by the coronavirus. While the virus has cause many health problems and deaths, the economic impact has been devastating and there are people literally starving and unable to provide for their families. Our missionaries and staff on the ground have scrambled to gather food and supplies for families impacted. Just thirty dollars can buy food for a family for two weeks.
BMDMI as an organization has also been greatly impacted by the pandemia. All of the ministries that we support are funded through donations. When these donations are not enough, they are funded through the general budget which depends on team fees collected from North American teams who travel to Central America and Nepal. The pandemic has made travel impossible and most teams were unable to travel, thereby causing a large budget deficit for our organization. We are confident that God will provide the funds to continue the valuable ministries that we support. Please pray with us and consider donating much needed resources to allow these ministries to continue reaching people in need.
